Upcoming Meeting Notices

Thursday, September 9, 2010 – Construction Staging Workshop
7:00-8:30 AM and 5:30-7:00 PM; Shakopee Police Training/Community Room

Construction Staging Workshop Invite – September 9 , 2011

The project design team will be hosting two Construction Staging Workshops designed to facilitate discussion with property and business owners regarding the sequencing of construction activities.  This is your chance to better understand the constraints of roadway and utility construction, provide input on circulation and access needs during construction, and communicate individual needs with the design team.

We strongly encourage all residents, property owners, business operators, motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists to attend one of the two meetings.  The meetings will cover identical information and are offered twice for your convenience.

Thursday, September 30, 2010 – Public Open House
5:00-7:30 PM; Shakopee Police Training/Community Room

Scott County and the City of Shakopee will be hosting a public open house to seek input on the final project layout.  The project layout will illustrate the limits and scope of the roadway reconstruction, intersection improvements, street lighting, access closures, and drainage improvements.  Input received will be included with the final layout and presented to the City Council for approval in October.

A copy of the draft project layout can be viewed online.
